On July 24, 2024, in El Salvador, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive Director-CEO of COCESNA, met with the President of the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA), Mr. Federico Anliker, and the General Manager, Mr. Juan Carlos Canales. They discussed various highly relevant aeronautical topics, including COCESNA’s collaboration in the activation of ILS Runway 07 at El Salvador International Airport SOARG, the project to upgrade the Radar Control Center at the airport, the renovation of the Ojo de Agua radar, and other current and important topics. The excellent relationship between CEPA and COCESNA was clearly highlighted. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both parties to continue joining forces on future aeronautical projects. The President of CEPA reiterated to the Executive Director-CEO of COCESNA his full willingness to provide local support for COCESNA’s initiatives, and Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino expressed his best wishes for continued fruitful inter-institutional relations. In the end, it was agreed to continue promoting these types of valuable meetings for the benefit of local and international aviation.
