COCESNA, through the Central American Aviation Safety Agency (ACSA), participated in the fourth session of the Forum: “Expediting Cargo Release and Clearance Processes”, held October 21-23 in Bogota, Colombia, in the framework of the 75th anniversary of Annex 9 – Facilitation of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and through the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Civil Aeronautics Organization of Colombia, addressing topics such as the importance of streamlining cargo clearance and release processes, contribution to the facilitation of air cargo transportation, and having the experience of having faced the challenges and approach during the COVID-19 of the Central American Region.
The Global Forum provided an excellent opportunity for ICAO to work with Member States to highlight the importance of air transport facilitation in the efficient conduct of operations and to increase global awareness of the provisions of Annex 9.
