COCESNA through ACSA participated in the Aerodromes Workshop held at the Mundo Maya International Airport, Guatemala, as part of the agreement with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and in collaboration with the DGAC of Guatemala, from April 28 to May 2, 2025. The event was developed under the EU-LAC APP II project and was facilitated by EASA specialists.
Aerodrome inspectors from Member States attended, addressing topics related to aerodrome certification, safety management, risk assessment, ICAO audits (USOAP), the new Pavement Pavement Resistance Reporting (PCR) system and Annex 14 Amendment 18 Obstacle Limiting Surfaces.
The workshop identified opportunities to improve certification processes and strengthen regional collaboration in operational safety.
