COCESNA, through the Aviation Safety Management (GSA) through its AVSEC/FAL specialists, participated in the 13th Meeting of the Regional Aviation Safety and Facilitation Group (AVSEC/FAL/RG/13), held June 2-6, 2025 in Antigua and Barbuda.
This regional aviation security and facilitation group was promoted by ICAO and LACAC, seeking to strengthen regional cooperation and compliance with civil aviation security (Annex 17) and facilitation (Annex 9) standards.
During the event, and in conjunction with Belize, a study note was presented on strengthening safety in domestic civil aviation operations, with the objective of improving the resilience of the Central American aeronautical system. COCESNA’s participation reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement, international cooperation and the development of safer and more efficient aviation in the NAM/CAR and SAM region.
