COCESNA, through the Central American Aviation Safety Agency (ACSA), participated from October 20 to 24, 2025 in the fourth Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Panel (RPASP) Working Group Meeting, held at the ICAO offices in Montreal, Canada.

The RPASP is the group in charge of developing Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), procedures and guidance material for the safe and efficient integration of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) in non-segregated airspace and aerodromes. During the meeting, progress was made in defining the provisions that will shape the future RPAS SARPs in the Annexes of the Chicago Convention.

The meeting brought together experts and aeronautical authorities from various regions to promote regulatory harmonization, interoperability and safety in RPAS operations globally.

COCESNA’s continued participation in these forums strengthens regional capabilities and supports the implementation of the RPAS Project in Central America, reaffirming its commitment to aeronautical modernization and safety.
