COCESNA, through the Central American Aviation Safety Agency (ACSA), participated in the third face-to-face meeting of the Central American AVSEC Regional Group in Ilopango, El Salvador, from December 1 to 4, a meeting that undoubtedly provided topics of great interest, new projects and a renewed spirit of collaboration and support among the States of the Central American Region.

The meeting was aligned with the common objective of promoting continuous improvement, sustainability and compliance with ICAO Annex 17, reaffirming the regional commitment to the permanent strengthening of civil aviation safety. Process standardization and Central American integration continue to be essential pillars in this joint effort.

The participating States – Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua – reiterated their commitment to work in coordination, promoting regional harmonization and mutual support to advance towards the levels of compliance established in the GASeP (Global Aviation Security Plan).
