At the end of the 40th Session of the ICAO Assembly, the number of attendees at previous Assemblies exceeded the number of attendees at previous Assemblies, with respect to the numerous Representative Delegations of States and Observer Organizations.
At the end of the event, a total of 2,425 people participated:
184 Member State delegations;
55 Observer Delegations;
2014 Member State Delegates;
387 Observer Delegates;
1 Special guest; and
23 Accredited Media Reporters.
One of the paintings permanently exhibited at ICAO headquarters, which was admired because it was located in one of the main entrances, was the work “Entre Meridianos y Paralelos” (Between Meridians and Parallels) by the renowned Honduran artist Santos Arzú Quioto, which is COCESNA’s contribution to the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the beginning of Central American integration within ICAO; also the 75th anniversary of ICAO and the creation of the Central American Air Navigation Corporation-COCESNA, which will be 60 years old in 2020.
Within the framework of this world event in Montreal, Canada, the 146th Extraordinary Meeting of COCESNA’s Board of Directors was also held, with the participation of delegations from their respective States: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
