March 3, 2022.- Under the coordination of ICAO, COCESNA through the Central American Agency for Aviation Safety (ACSA), within the framework of GASOS (Global Aviation Safety Oversight System) participated in the thirty thirty-third meeting of the platform of Global RSOO Cooperation. Said meeting was held on February 22, 2022, led by the coordinator of the platform, Mr. Krzysztof Kędzierski. The objective of the meeting was to inform and familiarize the members of the platform about the latest activities of the group; such as the last Conference addressed to other ICAO working groups, industry in general and international organizations. In this conference ACSA participated as a panelist with a participation of 300 participants from around the world, where ACSA expressed its experience as an RSOO with more than 20 years and that it has infrastructure and economic resources provided by COCESNA that allow its operation, personnel training .
Additionally, ACSA shared with the conference the good example that ACSA set with AERIS Holding, the airport operator of the Juan Santamaria International Airport, where ACSA was the primary advisor to their facilitation committee for the implementation of the biosecurity protocol and the development of procedures associated with passenger processing during the pandemic.
