The Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) represented by Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive Director-CEO, and the Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion of the French Republic, represented by Damien Cazé, Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement on October 3, 2022, in the city of Montreal, Canada.

The objective of this Agreement is to specify the content of administrative and technical cooperation and procedures between the Parties, inter alia, to promote, develop and strengthen the implementation of international civil aviation standards and recommended practices in the following areas:

a) Studies in the field of civil aviation;

b) Operational safety;

c) Civil aviation security;

d) Air navigation services;

e) Sustainable development;

f) Training assistance and cooperation between training institutions.
