Gracias al esfuerzo de la Autoridades de Aviación Civil de los Estados Miembros de COCESNA y el apoyo de la AAC de EL Salvador como Estado anfitrión, así como de la Dirección Ejecutiva – CEO y la Gerencia de Seguridad Aeronáutica (ACSA) de COCESNA, fue posible llevar a cabo la primera reunión presencial del Grupo Regional AVSEC de Centroamérica del 16 al 20 de octubre, 2023, celebrada en la cuidad de San Salvador, El Salvador.
The Central American AVSEC group was established on August 19, 2021, as a result of the agreement of the Member States of COCESNA: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua; with the purpose of supporting the States of the Central American Region, in the fulfillment of their obligations regarding Aviation Security and competent Facilitation regulations with the goal of raising the levels of implementation of the standards and methods recommended by ICAO in security and standardizing procedures in our Region.
