Within the framework of the EU LAC APPII project, financed by EASA and with the support of AESA and SENASA, COCESNA, through its Environmental Management Department (GMA), carried out a successful day of wildlife management in airport areas.

This virtual event was attended by more than 250 people involved in the aviation sector, including airline operators, airport operators, civil aviation authority officials and other interested parties from Latin America and Europe.

COCESNA presented the “Central American perspective on bird and wildlife risk management”, highlighting the work of the Central American Table on Avian and Fauna Hazards (MPAF), regional effects and co-factors, the Regional Guide on Avian and Fauna Hazards, technological innovations, news on the subject and future collaborative events.
