From August 20 to 22, 2024, the Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) through the Executive Director – CEO, Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre and the Environmental Management, Eng. Giovanni Tobar, participated in the event organized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Paraguay, the North American Regional Office, Central America and the Caribbean. North American, Central American and Caribbean Regional Office (NACC/SAM) of ICAO and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) (NACC/SAM) of ICAO and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), with the purpose of presenting topics related to “The perspectives on PAS of the different key actors in the Region”, the “Vision and Objective, on the way to the development of a PAS strategy” and in the moderation of the panel on “Financing a Roadmap to implement PAS in the Region”.

The event was attended by civil aviation authorities from Latin American countries, representatives of the European Union, ICAO, CLAC, FAA, air operators, aircraft manufacturers, PAS technology providers, international banks and air transport associations such as IATA and ALTA.

In this way, COCESNA is part of the actions that promote the environmental strategy of international aviation, with respect to neutralizing its carbon emissions by the year 2050 and, consequently, of its own corporate strategic plan.
