COCESNA coordinated a successful maritime rescue operation in conjunction with national authorities, providing key support in communications, monitoring and activation of SAR protocols.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Directorate General of the Merchant Marine (DGMM), the Honduran Navy (FNH), the Honduran Air Force (FAH) and the crew of the vessel Cortés 1, lives were saved in Honduran jurisdictional waters. This action reaffirms COCESNA’s commitment to the safety and protection of human life at sea.
