On June 29, COCESNA was recognized with the “Tierra Viva, Guardabosques del Futuro” distinction for its commitment to the sustainability of the aviation sector and the protection of the environment. The award was granted by the Comité Pro-Mejoramiento de Chiquimula (COPROMECHI) during the workshop on protected areas and emission reductions, held in Chiquimula, Guatemala.
The award was received by Eng. Giovanni Tobar, COCESNA’s Environmental Manager, on behalf of Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive Director – CEO.
The event was part of the regional project supported by CCAD and the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the participation of CUNORI experts, civil society, government officials and COCESNA technicians.
