COCESNA through Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Eng. Ronny Montenegro, Manager of Estación Guatemala, Ing. Giovanni Tobar, Environmental Manager, Capt. Alejandro Mena, Aeronautical Safety Manager and Lic. Jorge Solares, COCESNA Advisor, actively participated in the 1st Women’s Summit and the CVII Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACACAC), held in Guatemala City on August 18-20, 2025.
The event was attended by the DChristopher Barks, the Chair of the LACAC, Mr. Melvin Cintron, Director of the Western Hemisphere office, Capt. Tomás Aldecoa, the Director of Civil Aviation of Guatemala, as well as important allies from distinguished institutions in the sector.
The meeting addressed key issues such as the environment, protection of vulnerable passengers and transport policies, reaffirming its commitment to technical cooperation, operational safety and environmental sustainability.
