COCESNA, through Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Executive Director-CEO, with representatives of the DGAC of Costa Rica and the company INDRA Sistemas, launched the project to upgrade the Juan Santamaría APP Control Center on September 18, 2025 in the city of Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The activities of installation, adjustment and testing of the hardware and software of the ManagAir and Garex300 automation systems, corresponding to phase 1, have begun with the objective of harmonizing the Central American FIR Control Centers and improving the automation, capacity, efficiency and safety of air traffic services.
