COCESNA, through ACSA, participated for the first time in the International Confidential Aviation Safety Systems (ICASS), held at the October 14-16, 2025 at London, United Kingdom, one of the most influential global forums in confidential reporting and operational security.
The specialist Frazier Rodriguez represented the region at an event that brought together leading authorities and organizations such as the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) of the United Kingdom, NASA, EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), CENIPA, Australia, Canada, Japan and Singapore. Sessions addressed the evolution of reporting systems, just culture, accident investigation, AI applied to safety and emerging challenges such as UAS and new technologies.
During the session of national presentations, Mr. Rodriguez presented the progress of the strengthening towards the SSP and the progress of the Regional Operational Safety Project (CST) of the United States of America Central American States, highlighting ACSA’s role as a RSOO.
The participation allowed the exchange of best practices with consolidated systems such as ASRS (USA) y CHIRP (United Kingdom), and to demonstrate Central America’s commitment to high standards of confidentiality, fair culture and continuous improvement in the operational safety reporting mechanisms.
