XVIII Central American Search and Rescue Committee (COBUSA) Conference
Panama, Panama, – The XVIII Conference of the Central American Search and Rescue Committee (COBUSA) was held in Panama City, a meeting attended for the first time by countries from the different FIR flight information regions of the Caribbean and South America, such as the Dominican Republic, Panama and Panama: Dominican Republic, Panama and Ecuador.
The purpose of this meeting, which was made possible thanks to the support of the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) and the joint work with directors of the Civil Aviation Authorities of COCESNA Member States, is to address specific issues that benefit the Central American region.
Thus, the Search and Rescue Unit (SAR) of CENAMER RADIO, under the instruction of its Coordinator Calvin Zúniga, with the support of the Operations Management ATS /ATC, has developed several functions that have come to strengthen the search and rescue operations, to be prepared at all times as required through the Rescue Coordination Center SAR Point of Contact of CENAMER RADIO.
