Tegucigalpa, October 23, 2018- On October 1, a new Administration of COCESNA began, under the Executive Presidency in charge of Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, who was elected by the Board of Directors for a period of five years (2018- 2023).
Mr. Trabanino, who was in charge of the Central American Air Navigation Agency-ACNA- for eleven years, has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from INCAE, and a degree in International Relations from the San Carlos University of Guatemala. He began his training in civil aviation as Air Traffic Controller and Air Traffic Services Instructor-ATS, at the Central American Institute of Aeronautical Training-ICCAE-.
The new executive president has stated that during his administration he will continue to work as a team and in a committed manner with all the collaborators to guarantee the provision of COCESNA’s services in a safe, continuous and efficient manner; he also recognizes and considers it appropriate to thank the trust placed in him by the Authorities of the different Aeronautics/Civil Aviation Administrations of our Member States, as well as the close collaboration of the Agencies, Associations, and related International Organizations and Suppliers, with whom the Corporation has worked closely. has successfully completed numerous projects for the development of regional civil aviation.
Finally, he reiterated that he will work in a coordinated and committed manner to ensure that COCESNA is considered a world reference, as a high performance provider, not only in the provision of air navigation services, but also in training and aeronautical safety.
