In San José, Costa Rica, the Secretary General of the Central American Integration System (SICA), Mr. Marco Vinicio Cerezo Arévalo, and Mrs. Sandra Kauffman, representative of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Federal Agency of the United States of America, responsible for aerospace research, aeronautics and the civil space program, in a solemn act, proceeded to sign the SICA-NASA Joint Declaration; with the purpose of regionally supporting research activities in applied sciences and earth observations for social benefit.
Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive President, attended this important event on behalf of COCESNA as a specialized organization of SICA, who also had the opportunity to talk with the Secretary General about the Central American flight plan and its implementation, which is of great interest to be considered at the Meeting of the Pro-Tempore Secretariat of SICA.
