To witness the factory acceptance testing of the Mode S ADS-B secondary radar for Bluefield, Nicaragua, COCESNA Board Members Capt. Carlos Salazar, Director of INAC and Abg. Leonidas Duarte, Legal Advisor of INAC, accompanied by Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive President of COCESNA, and Eng. Marco Zelaya, Regional Manager of COCESNA-Nicaragua, visited the INDRA Production Center, located in Sierra de Guadarrama, Spain.
This opportunity has also served to negotiate the equipment of the APP Control Center in Bluefield, Nicaragua, the upgrade of the secondary radar at the Las Nubes site, and the radar data display screens at five (5) different airports in Nicaragua.
Another highlight of this important mission was the signing of the MCS contract for the APP Control Center for the Mundo Maya airport in Guatemala.
Follow-up is also planned for regional projects that are an integral part of the investment plan of COCESNA and its Member States.
