To learn on site the development of the construction of the future international airport that will serve the cities of central Honduras, and attending a cordial invitation from the Honduran Airline Association (AHLA) and IATA (International Air Transport Association), Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive President of COCESNA visited the Palmerola site in Comayagua, Honduras, located approximately one hour by land from the city of Tegucigalpa, accompanied by Mr. Wilfredo Lobo, Executive Director of the Honduran Civil Aeronautics Agency (AHAC), representatives of the airlines, and other officials.

Currently, work on the future terminal building is just over 40% complete, and its planners expect it to be ready for international civil aviation operations in approximately two years.

In addition to the tour of the site, visitors received additional information about the project from the civil works managers and concessionaires.
