From September 3 to 5, 2019, the Workshop on Procedures for Aeronautical Information Management Air Navigation Services (PANS-AIM) was held at the ICAO Regional Office for North, Central America and the Caribbean (NACC) headquarters in Mexico City.
This Meeting was attended by representatives from different States of the NAM/CAR Regions and International Organizations, including COCESNA, which participated with the attendance and PRESENTATION of Mr. José Alberto Morales, AIM Supervisor and Mrs. María Dolores Monzón, AIM Specialist.
The objective of this workshop was to prepare States for the understanding and correct interpretation of PANS-AIM (Doc 10066) from ICAO’s point of view to AIM specialists. The workshop included presentations and interactive discussions on this issue, taking into account the importance of updating the information in each of the 21 steps established for the Transition in the ICAO Roadmap for the implementation of the AIM, and the recent entry into force of this document.
