On Monday, October 7, 2019, the Cybersecurity diagnostic stage began, between COCESNA and INDRA, with the objective of identifying and analyzing the security gaps for the critical infrastructure at the headquarters, and to establish the level of security maturity.

The opening meeting was attended by Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive President of COCESNA, Mrs. Aura M. Pinto and Mr. Juan Bello from INDRA.

The COCESNA staff present at the opening and who will also follow up on the proposed work plan to be carried out initially from October 7 to 11, is comprised of Eng. Gabriel Quirós, Director ACNA, Eng. Roger Pérez, Technical Manager, Ing. César Núñez, Project Manager, for the Information Technology Management (GTI), Lic. Karim Álvarez, GTI Manager, Lic. Denis Sánchez, Information Infrastructure, Ing. Oscar Villela, GTI, Mr. Roberto Zavala and Mr. David Flores, IT Infrastructure.

 

Both INDRA and COCESNA technicians will contribute in the diagnosis and evaluation to measure the maturity status of COCESNA’s capabilities in asset management based on ISO 27001:2013 and NIST controls. The scope to be evaluated includes corporate IT (Information Technology) assets as well as OT (Operational Technology) control/operation assets in air traffic control networks.
