Within the framework of the ” 6th ICAO Global Aviation Training and TRAINAIR PLUS Symposium”, held in New Delhi, India, from December 3 to 6, 2019, COCESNA was represented with the participation of Mr. Mario Rubén Martínez, Director of ICCAE.
At this event, the ICCAE was once again recognized by the ICAO as a Regional Training Center of Excellence -RTCE-, forming part of a select group of 20 aeronautical training organizations worldwide, which have the conditions to provide quality training, according to compliance with the standards and methods recommended by the governing body of civil aviation.
According to the ICAO, the ICCAE is the only center that in the period 2016 – 2019, has managed to achieve such recognition, which is the highest international level in the field of aeronautical training.
Similarly, within the gala dinner of this event, the ICCAE was the subject of two special distinctions out of the ten (10) awards given, as the Center with the highest participation in ICAO standardized courses in 2018, among approximately 100 Civil Aviation Instruction Centers (CIAC’s) members of the TRAINAIR Plus program.
With the receipt of these distinctions, Central America and COCESNA, through ICCAE, is positioned very well in the concert of the signatory countries of the Chicago Convention, in alignment with the achievement of the strategic framework of COCESNA-ICCAE, as a model in the provision of aeronautical services of excellence.
