At the invitation of the Permanent Contingency Commission (COPECO) of the Government of the Republic of Honduras, COCESNA’s Executive President, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, appointed Eng. Carlos Hernández, ACC Maintenance Chief and Mr. José Alfredo Santos Mondragón, Internal Secretary, in the training session on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at COPECO’s headquarters in Tegucigalpa, which was conducted by World Bank Consultants, with the objective of; learning about the presentation of the key concepts that must be taken into account to ensure continuity in the provision of services that are essential for the User Community, both National and Foreign, in the event of a possible disaster or any national emergency event that could occur.
Different governmental institutions that are related to the provision of important public services and emergency services in rapid response to these situations were also summoned to this session. Primarily so that they can ideally incorporate these concepts into the respective business continuity plans and strategic functions of an organization at alternate sites for up to 30 days.
