Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive President of COCESNA, who addressed an important message of support to the activities being carried out on this subject, under the direction of Eng. Giovanni Tobar, Regional Manager of Environment and Climate Change (GEREMAC), COCESNA’s Environment Committee met in the Integration Room of the headquarters in Tegucigalpa.

Pablo Luna, SMS, Attorney at Law. Delma Ayala, Legal Services Management, Lic. Silvia Quezada, and Alfredo Santos Mondragón, SIRP.

The agenda included different topics on the activities developed by GEREMAC with the support of the Environment Committee, the progress of the Green Book as a corporate environmental ideology of COCESNA, prior to its publication and distribution.

“With the implementation of COCESNA’s green book, the corporate commitment to the sustained application of practices that take into account the three-dimensionality of sustainability, i.e., environmental, social and economic aspects; taking as a reference the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the plan estrategic plan of our corporation”.

Objectives

  • To develop in COCESNA’s collaborators a sense of respect, care and protection of the planet’s natural systems.
  • Determine a specific budget to implement the activities framed in COCESNA’s Green Book strategies.
  • Position COCESNA as a global reference in environmental matters in the aeronautical sector.

As part of the implementation of COCESNA’s Quality Management System (QMS), the corporate environmental management and climate change process (ECM) has been incorporated, thus consolidating the promotion of environmental issues across the board.
