The continuity of air navigation services provided by COCESNA is a process that involves administrative, operational and technical personnel in each of their job responsibilities. And, in emergency conditions and exceptional cases, in order to guarantee the traffic flow of passenger, cargo or humanitarian aircraft flying over the airspace of the Central American Flight Information Region (FIR), air traffic controllers, aeronautical information management, communications, navigation, radar surveillance and those who support them in general services must be on duty 24/7 without interruption through relays that do not allow them to quarantine.
While the Authorities of the countries of the world are requesting the community in general to take the due precautions before this pandemic, which will result in the affectation of the industry, commerce and the routine activity of the world population, the preservation of life takes priority to guarantee in the future the normalization of all the affected areas and the economic recovery of each patrimony including the personnel.
Officials and employees of COCESNA today ask the community in general for their individual contribution, respecting the quarantine and preventive measures of each country, protecting their own and the best way is to stay at home if your activity is not related to emergency services, security or activities specified in these cases.
Please do your best, we are already doing our part!
