COCESNA as a Member of the CADENA Group (CANSO) signs Letter of Agreement (LOA) between CADENA member ANSP’s and the FAA ATO Space Operations Office.

COCESNA on December 03, 2020, as a Member of the CADENA Group (CANSO), signs letter of agreement (LOA) between ANSP’s, CADENA Members and the FAA ATO Space Operations Office, with the objective of facilitating the safe and efficient movement of space launch and recovery operations through collaborative decision making (CDM) between the FIRs involved.

This Letter of Agreement promotes communication, collaboration and coordination between ANSPs and ATO Space Ops regarding space launch and recovery operations.

The information shared between ANSPs, CADENA and interested parties has the sole purpose of aviation safety.

This agreement establishes a common regional communication protocol for cross-border air traffic management (ATM), a seamless operational atmosphere that incorporates procedures, operational practices, a structure, reporting and performance review process.
