The impact caused by Hurricanes ETA and IOTA was highly considerable for the infrastructure and economy of some Central American countries, especially in Honduras and Nicaragua. In the case of COCESNA, the sites located at the Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport, Honduras, and the Puerto Cabezas Airport, Nicaragua, were affected, causing economic losses. In addition, some of our employees and their families suffered damages and losses to their homes, household goods, vehicles and other damages.

The Executive Presidency appointed a Commission to carry out the respective analyzes in a transparent and objective manner, which was made up of a representative of Internal Audit, Human Resources Management, Administrative-Financial Management, Legal Services Management, Crisis Committee and the Executive Presidency.

COCESNA, socially responsible, contributed with a monetary donation, approved by the Honorable Board of Directors, and the Collaborators have voluntarily collected funds to economically help our affected colleagues, so we proceeded to consolidate the total funds collected for their distribution and delivery according to the magnitude of the damages suffered by each one of them. The funds have been delivered to the affected employees by bank transfer to their savings accounts.
