On February 12, 2021, COCESNA and ICAO held a meeting to follow up and coordinate joint activities and tasks for the benefit of the Central American States.
The meeting was led by Mr. Julio Siú, Deputy Regional Director and Sr. Fernando Camargo, ICAO RO/TA and on behalf of COCESNA, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive Director CEO, Captain Alejandro Mena, ACSA Manager and Engineer Roger Perez, ACNA Senior Manager, which focused on activities and air safety and navigation issues supported by the European Union (EU); the Latin American/ Caribbean (LAC) Project, adaptation of these activities within the regional priorities and the priority work program for the COCHE Region and Central American States.
COCESNA, under its new implementation strategy, seeks to optimize resources and improve regional collaboration among the different projects and assistance.
The ICAO NACC Regional Office supports this approach for an effective work plan to increase compliance and optimal solutions for Central American States to implement air navigation service and system delivery with the highest level of safety and efficiency.
