On Friday, April 30, 2021, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive Director-CEO, congratulates his collaborators in commemoration of May 1st “International Workers’ Day”, expressing the following:
In commemoration of May 1st, which is celebrated as International Workers’ Day, millions of Central Americans move in the field of informality and unemployment, before which, it is good to thank the Almighty for the opportunity to have a stable, dignified job, with benefits and working conditions, such is the case of all of us who are part of COCESNA, therefore, with great pride I recognize and appreciate all the work and effort made every day to fulfill the Mission and Vision of our Corporation, as well as our Corporate values: ATTITUDE FOR CHANGE, COMMITMENT, COOPERATION, EXCELLENCE AND INTEGRITY.
I recalled that, a little over a year ago, the health crisis we experienced as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic was announced, its strong impact on the aviation industry, the expansion of the same and how it impacts on air traffic in a decrease in operations and therefore a drop in corporate revenues, which meant taking together with the Board of Directors, This meant taking a comprehensive package of measures to address the crisis, aimed at optimizing cash flow with extreme cost and expense containment measures, which we are still in the process of implementing today, and the participation of COCESNA personnel at all levels is key to ensuring the sustainability and strengthening of the Corporation in the short, medium and long term.
However, despite this crisis, even at its worst, COCESNA did not fail to meet its responsibilities in the provision of services, nor its employer obligations. This Administration, with the support of the Board of Directors, prepared a Containment Plan for the crisis based on four axes:
- To preserve the health and well-being of our employees;
- Ensure continuity of services;
- Maintain economic and financial equilibrium for the sustainability of the Corporation;
- Regional and extra-regional management for the operational and economic reactivation of aviation.
Thank you for being great coworkers and for giving the best of yourselves and I ask God to continue giving us strength to keep working hard and with care, because we are the pride and support of the people we love the most.
“May God our Lord allow all labor activity to return to normal, but it will certainly be a new reality, where the International Workers’ Day, will always be a reason to remember and that they deserve all the tributes, because day after day they perform their duties in an exceptional way. They are a wonderful and professional group of people who are a pleasure to work with.
We thank God for having a stable, dignified job with the benefits and working conditions that we have.
Happy Labor Day, FELLOWS!!!!
¡!!! GOD BLESS EVERYONE, BLESS COCESNA AND BLESS THE REGION!!!!!
