From July 26 to 28, 2021, the second FRSM (Fatigue Risk Management System) workshop was held, under the ACSA-EASA cooperation agreement, with the participation of COCESNA Member States. and EASA experts; where different topics of interest to the Region were addressed.
The objective of the workshop is to inform the inspectors of the COCESNA member authorities, the European method to comply with the ICAO SARPs on fatigue management based on scientific principles and satisfying operational needs.
The workshop has dealt with the practical application of the knowledge of the European Union (EU) ORO.FTL regulations specifically the FTL Subpart “FLIGHT AND DUTY TIME LIMITATIONS AND REST REQUIREMENTS” to acquire the skill in compliance with the regulation, as well as the methodology on supervision and the use of compliance checklists for inspectors.
