Virtual Meeting, August 30, 2021.- COCESNA held a Meeting with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Costa Rica (DGAC), where training was officially started in the Surveillance, Aircraft, Policies and Organizations modules of the new Regional Aeronautical Information System called SIAR EVO.
In the same participated, Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Executive Director-CEO, Cap. Alejandro Mena Manager of ACSA, Lic. Karim Álvarez Manager of Information Technology (GTI), Lic. Luis Miranda Muñoz deputy director of the DGAC, as well as the Inspectors of the different areas of the Aviation Authority.
SIAR Evolution, hereinafter known as SIARevo, is the result of several years of development involving personnel from the GTI R+D+i and IT Infrastructure units and ACSA specialists, the latter who have accompanied the process in the definition and validation of system requirements. On the other hand, the beginning of this phase would not have been possible without the direct participation of the technical staff of the DGAC of Costa Rica, who has actively participated in the preparation of the data to be migrated to the new system.
With this type of initiative, COCESNA intends to continue supporting the states of the Central American Region to maintain the highest standards in the management of their procedures in the aeronautical field. We hope that this effort made will be reflected in the short and medium term in the increase in the levels of compliance with the International Aeronautical Regulations, thus favoring the Aviation Safety of the Region.
