October 20, 2021.- Yesterday the Air Traffic Controller Day was commemorated worldwide, who, throughout the world, carry out this important work that today celebrates its 60th anniversary. COCESNA/ICCAE sends an affectionate congratulations to all of them and recognizes their essential work to safeguard security. Since 1961 the date coincides with the establishment in Amsterdam of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers (IFATCA).

During the difficult period of the Coronavirus Pandemic that the world continues to experience, Air Traffic Controllers have provided their services with the same professionalism as always, supporting the safe and expeditious transfer of patients with COVID, collaborating in the arrival of medical equipment, supplies and the transfer of medical personnel rigorously, in accordance with all established procedures and following the regular operation of commercial, private and military flights.

One of the main objectives of COCESNA/ICCAE is to guarantee the operation of the Aeronautical System in a safe and efficient manner and thus contribute to the development of civil aviation in the region.
