December 17, 2021.- COCESNA, through the Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training (ICCAE), closed the AIM Integrated Documentation course for the personnel of the Autonomous Executive Port Commission and the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador, the personnel are assigned or will be assigned to work in a dependency of AIS Publications. This course has been redesigned from the perspective of the transition to AIM. Its purpose is to provide the participant with the regulatory concepts applicable to the production of integrated AIP documentation, using the computer tool that COCESNA has recently acquired. The course program is organized into two large aspects, the first is related to the administration of the databases that feed the system and the second to the production of the integrated documentation itself. The methodology of the course is eminently practical, the evaluation is carried out through checklists, in practical exercises.

The instructors have the expertise, both in the normative aspects of the preparation of the integrated documentation and of the computer tool. In face-to-face training processes, biosecurity measures are applied for the prevention of COVID-19 (mask, face coverings, face shields), coughing and sneezing protocols, hand washing, and social distancing.

At the end of the course, the participants are able to use the TOPSKY AIXM and TOPSKY eAIP components, the elements of the integrated documentation, such as; AIC, Supplements to the AIP, AIP and its amendments under ICAO regulations.
