December 10, 2021.- COCESNA, through the Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training (ICCAE), completed the TRAINAIR PLUS 212/02/ICAO TIC SP Instructor Training course for personnel in the Operator Training area in the Region. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has prepared, within the framework of the TRAINAIR PLUS (TP) Program of the Global Aviation Training Office (GAT), the ICAO Standardized Training Material Set (CMDN) “Training Course of Instructors (CFI)” in Spanish which is offered to the aviation community at the TRAINAIR PLUS Centers and uniquely covers all the material necessary to train TRAINAIR PLUS instructors. This course is completely taught in face-to-face mode, so the training classroom is equipped for the development of activities where all the sanitary guidelines, COVID-19 prevention implements (mask, face masks, face shields), cough and sneeze protocols were met. , hand washing and social distancing, in addition the activities are designed for interaction at a distance.
With the successful completion of the course, participants are able to:
- Prepare the instructional environment including facilities, equipment and instructional materials.
- Conduct participant learning using a variety of instructional strategies and methods depending on the instructional modality.
- Evaluate participants’ learning in an appropriate, objective and correct manner. Effectively carry out the Course evaluation.
- Continuously improve performance through self-assessment as well as feedback from participants.
