May 3, 2022.- As part of the activities established in the implementation plan of the GRF of the State of Guatemala promoted within the Regional Group of OGP Specialists (GRAGA), the course for GRF instructors was held from May 18 to 20. April of the present year. In this activity there was the honorable participation of Mr. Deputy Technical Director Captain Jorge Ríos and the presence of Mr. Francis Argueta Director of the DGAC of Guatemala as well as the participation of specialists in the areas of OPS, ATC, AIM, MET and AGA. This course was taught by ACSA specialists in AGA, Eng. Herbert Wedel MsC and ATC Edy Espino. Additionally, MR. Espino works with the State of Guatemala in the elaboration of the ANS instruction material and the ATC-AIM procedures for the notification of the GRF and Ing Wedel, in the diagnosis and improvement of the procedures for the renewal of the aerodrome certificate of the International Airport La Dawn.
The joint work between COCESNA and the Member States fills us with pride and satisfaction with the results. We appreciate the ever-present collaboration of ICCAE in supporting these activities, who organized the teaching and graduation of this course.
