On August 25 of this year, Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre Executive Director -CEO, Captain Carlos Salazar Director INAC Nicaragua, Eng. Nigel Carter Director DCA of Belize, Lic. Luis Miranda Director of the DGAC A.I of Costa Rica, Eng. Homero Morales Director of the AAC of El Salvador, Cap. Francis Argueta Director of the DGAC of Guatemala and Lic. Gerardo Rivera Director of the AHAC of Honduras; during the meeting of the Technical Committee held in San Salvador, El Salvador; the signing of the Inter-institutional Cooperation Agreement for the Exchange of Specialists was carried out, with the interest of strengthening the Civil Aviation System in the Central American Region, maintaining the operational safety standards dictated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The objective of said agreement is that the Civil Aviation authorities of the COCESNA Member States can have sufficient and duly qualified technical personnel to be able to certify and supervise the operational safety of the operators.
