On September 9 of this year, the Members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director – CEO of COCESNA held the 244th Meeting of the Board of Directors in a hybrid format (face-to-face and virtual), meeting in person in the city of San Pedro, Belize. The agenda of the event included discussions on topics of relevance for civil aviation in the Central American region, such as: Agreements adopted by the various Committees and Commissions of the Board of Directors, Activities and Agenda for the 41st Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and a corporate presentation by executives from Indra Sistemas of Spain, important suppliers for the Corporation in Radar Control Centers, Primary and Secondary Radars, among others.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Captain Carlos Salazar, thanked Minister André Perez, Minister of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation and Titular Representative for Belize to the Board of Directors for hosting the event as well as for the hospitality provided during the celebration of this event, which is held on a monthly basis.
COCESNA’s Board of Directors is the highest-ranking body within the Regional Organization and is responsible for discussing, analyzing, proposing, and approving matters of administrative and technical importance submitted for its consideration by its Member States and the Corporation.
