On July 13 and 14, 2023, with the presence of Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre Executive Director -CEO of COCESNA, Aeronautical Authorities of El Salvador, Managers of ICCAE and GRIAA, AIG Specialists from Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador , Nicaragua and Costa Rica, as well as specialists from ACSA and GRIAA, the First Meeting of Accident Investigation Specialists (AIG) was held at the ICCAE facilities.
During the Meeting, important agreements were reached regarding the updating of the Regional Development Strategy in Accident Investigation and on how to advance in the implementation of critical AIG elements, in compliance with the ICAO international standards of Annex 13 and highlighting the importance of COCESNA to provide support to States through the AIG Cooperation Mechanism represented by GRIAA.
