On October 13 in Belize City, the 149th meeting of the Technical Committee and the 257th meeting of the CD were held, made up of the Representatives of each Member State of the CD and the Executive Director of COCESNA, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, visited the facilities of the Belize Building where the BZE PSR radar is currently being installed and in which the MSSR-S radar that is currently installed on the grounds of the Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize will be moved and co-assembled.
During this visit it was observed that, thanks to the participation and support of all interested parties: Members of the Board of Directors of Belize, Director of the DGAC of Belize, supplier INDRA Sistemas and COCESNA, significant progress has been made in the work of equipment room, completion of the tower foundation, tower assembly, electrical works, location of PSR and ADS-B equipment and interior wiring, managing to meet the planned deadlines and managing risks and operational safety.
