The Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) commemorates 54 years of uninterrupted provision of the Air Traffic Control Service since November 12, 1969; day in which the Central American Air Traffic Control Center FIC/ACC began operations, known from that date on as “CENAMER CONTROL”, before this date COCESNA only had a Flight Information Center.

All these years of excellent service have been possible thanks to the dedication of visionary men who have led the Corporation through the years and the commitment of each of the different collaborators of our organization, especially each of the Air Traffic Controllers who have been and are part of COCESNA’s Air Traffic Services, who have dedicated a great part of their lives to this noble task of protecting the upper airspace of the Central American IRF.
