The Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) with the support and leadership of the Executive Directorate – CEO, has achieved a significant milestone in its evolution, innovation and being at the technological forefront by successfully completing the modernization of its SAP infrastructure, migrating it to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services.
This successful migration process was critical for what it represented in terms of migrating the entire technological platform of the COCESNA SAP system, having processes such as the following: Finance, Budget, Maintenance Management, Projects, Purchasing, Assets, Accounting, Billing and Collections, among many other modules. This process is very particular due to the multiple modules that are fully automated (ERP, HCM, EPM and BI) and their use at the regional level.
With the migration of the On Premise infrastructure to the cloud and updating of versions of the SAP system, the Corporation has first-class services, capabilities and tools, which contemplates the use of technological innovations and trends, the best practices in the industry that in turn allows the Corporation to strengthen cybersecurity aspects, better adaptability and dynamic growth of IT resources based on demand, continuity in the provision of services, streamline decision-making processes and efficiency in management between others.
