COCESNA, through the Aeronautical Safety Management (ACSA), promotes and participates in the Aerodrome Certification Workshop, which was held from April 8 to 12 of the current year, at the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Costa Rica, as part of the EU LAC APP II Cooperation Project, COCESNA and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Costa Rica.
For this workshop we had the EASA Experts, Carlos García Gutiérrez-Marcet and Cristina Fernández Vázquez, who shared their great knowledge and experience in this matter to all the participants, with the purpose of understanding the certification process with field visits and simulated audits of the aerodrome operator with subsequent discussion sessions of the lessons learned in the Region
