COCESNA through the Aeronautical Safety Management (ACSA) as part of the AGA working group (NACC/WG) in conjunction with the NACC Office and the FAA; From May 15 to 17, 2024, the second follow-up meeting was held at the NACC office in Mexico City.
During this meeting COCESNA/ACSA managed to share the experience with the NACC region regarding operational safety evaluations in the area of Aerodromes and Ground Aids (AGA). One of the action topics of this important “Working Group” is the implementation of the “Runway Safety Groups (RST)”, so the knowledge related to the preparation of operational safety evaluations was shared with the participants. to mitigate runway incursions at airports in the Central American Region.
