COCESNA is the provider of aeronautical telecommunications services and has a satellite telecommunications network with VSAT stations throughout Central America, which together with microwave links complement connectivity to all major Central American airports, as well as to COCESNA’s Aeronautical Mobile Service (AMS) remote stations. COCESNA also has a terrestrial microwave network as an alternative and backup to the VSAT network. This entire communications infrastructure is comprised of state-of-the-art and redundant digital technology equipment and systems, complemented by automatic digital switching systems between communications media (VSAT – Microwave).
