Havana, Cuba – November 19, 2018- During the XXIII Ordinary Assembly of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC), The Corporation. Centroamericana de Servicios de Navegación Aérea (COCESNA) and ARUBA’s Department of Civil Aviation (DAC) signed a cooperation agreement to provide an effective instrument to strengthen the relationship between the Parties and establish closer cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
The signing of this important agreement was carried out by Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, Executive President of COCESNA and Engineer Edwin Kelly in his capacity as Director of the DAC and as witnesses representatives of COCESNA’s Board of Directors.
The agreement provides for participation in activities in accordance with all applicable procedural rules while establishing a framework for improving relations and strengthening cooperation between the signatory parties.
Together they will seek to improve civil aviation safety, strengthen the capacity and efficiency of air navigation among other services such as – cartography, PBN, ATFM, implementation of the SIAR system, aeronautical technical assistance and training.
Expanding cooperation ties is of utmost importance for COCESNA as it establishes mechanisms for dialogue, consultation, coordination, cooperation and information exchange, as well as facilitating the sharing of information in various areas of civil aviation, which translates into development not only for the Central American region but also for Latin America.
