The Members of the Honorable Board of Directors of COCESNA, Linday Garbutt of Belize, Ing. José Manuel Saenz Scaglietti of Costa Rica, Col. René Roberto López Morales, from El Salvador, Dr. Leónidas Vicente Duarte Suárez, from Nicaragua, Mr. Chris Blanco, Internal Auditor, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive President, Mr. Mario Martínez, Director of ICCAE, Mr. Karim Álvarez, Technology and Information Technology Manager-GTI, Eng. Moisés Cukier, who was the initiator of this project, was present at this important inauguration ceremony, together with COCESNA officials and employees. Once Col. René Roberto López, on behalf of the Board of Directors, cut the inaugural ribbon and thus began the tour of this new facility at the headquarters.
In his remarks, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino said that it had been considered appropriate to inaugurate this hall during the week of COCESNA’s 59th anniversary, which, with its modern design, marks a new milestone in the history of the Corporation’s evolution since its inception. This state-of-the-art facility will be available for technology demonstrations and developments, as well as to stimulate creativity, brainstorming and teamwork in our Human Factor.
After demonstrations by GTI specialists, and further information about the additional advantages now available at COCESNA. The members of the Board of Directors decided to give a name to this technological hall to remember the vision of the founders, so they considered it fair to designate in their memory the name of “Lisandro Rosales Abella”, who served as COCESNA’s first Manager in its origin in 1960.
