From March 12 to 14, 2019, the First Regional Meeting for Contingency and Emergency Planning and Response (NAM/CAR/CONT/1) was convened at the ICAO NACC Regional Office in Mexico City.
The purposes of the meeting were specified as follows: to take concrete actions to address contingencies and emergency situations from a regional perspective; to develop the CAR Regional Contingency Response Plan; and to make the necessary arrangements in preparation for the 2019 hurricane season.
COCESNA was represented by Víctor Manuel Andrade, Operations Manager, Pablo Luna, SMS Coordinator, and Ricardo Paredes, ATC of CENAMER, who presented the Corporation’s comprehensive contingency plan.
COCESNA’s presence at ICAO events strengthens the knowledge of ICAO staff and also contributes regionally to the exchange of good experiences and best practices.
